For SAM 2025, I took on the challenge of designing a new landing page from scratch. The previous website lacked a cohesive user experience and interface, consisting of disparate pages without a unified design. Within a matter of days, I conceptualized a fresh layout and crafted engaging content blocks using Drupal. By leveraging pre-built components that I had requested from the developer, I was able to efficiently create a visually appealing and user-friendly landing page that effectively showcased the event and its key features.

As part of the organizing team for the African Microfinance Week (SAM 2023), I designed all the event's visuals, from large screens to smaller print materials. This picture showcases one of my screen designs displayed behind the officials, representatives, and the 1100 participants in attendance.

Crafting visuals for the SAM 2023 was a real adventure. I designed over 56 unique screens to cater to the event's 5-day duration. The welcoming screen, shown here, is just one example of my work. Creating these screens within a tight deadline was no easy feat, as I had to consider various factors such as size, quality, readability, colors, and more to ensure the best possible outcome for such an unsual format.

The entrance arc I imagined for the Innovators' Village seamlessly blends into the brand's graphic universe, mirroring SAM's signature colors. The arc stands as a welcoming structure, before which the Luxembourgish Minister of Foreign Affairs had the honor of performing the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Designing the badge for the event was challenging, as it required fitting a lot of important information, including two QR codes, attendee details, and visual elements, into a small format. By carefully arranging the key components, I created a functional and attractive badge that effectively communicated all the necessary information within the limited space available. Over 1,100 people, including government officials from Luxembourg and Togo, wore the badge, emphasizing the need for a design that was informative, visually appealing, practical, and durable.

Dissatisfied with the creative agency's lack of creativity and research in designing the SAM 2025 brochure, I took it upon myself to redesign it. By infusing the brochure with vibrant colors, engaging visuals that captured the event's dynamic identity, I created a promotional tool that effectively conveyed the essence of SAM 2025.

Chez Samsam is a bar-restaurant based in Brussels. I was given the opportunity to rebrand their logo and graphical chart. I chose to represent the owner’s face in flat design via illustrator and I chose a friendly curvy typography for the name.

Loree training is a sport’s hall based in Brussels. The owner being a woman, I wanted to give it a nice female touch, reason why I chose a purple weight as its representation. The logo is skewed to project dynamism and the typography is rough to underline the labor of sport.

The post also underscored the significant gap between adaptation finance requirements in developing countries and current international public finance flows, stressing the importance of financial inclusion in fostering autonomous adaptation and building grassroots resilience to climate change.
